Automated Contact Import from Facebook Ad Library (Based on Search & Filters)
Engels Valenzuela
Currently, when prospecting through Facebook Ad Library, I manually perform searches (usually by keyword like “med spa”) and apply filters such as platform, media type, and active status. Then, I open each advertiser profile one by one to collect available contact information (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, website, and email if listed).
This process is time-consuming and repetitive.
Feature Request:
Add a FlowChat automation that
- Connects to Facebook Ad Library search results.
- Automatically extracts all visible contact information from advertisers returned by a given search/filter set.
- Imports the collected contacts directly into FlowChat with an option to:
+ Choose destination pipeline, stage, and tags (via the standard import pop-up).
+ Update existing contact records if new information is found.
+ Optionally schedule the process to run automatically (daily, weekly, etc.) with saved searches.
Example Workflow:
- I search “med spa” ads running in the U.S. with “Active ads” filter.
- FlowChat scrapes/collects all visible advertiser contact links (Facebook, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, website).
- Contacts automatically populate into my selected FlowChat pipeline.
- The system updates existing records with any new data discovered.
Value for Users:
- Eliminates manual clicking through hundreds of ad profiles.
- Dramatically increases lead collection efficiency from proven, active advertisers.
- Keeps FlowChat data fresh and accurate for outreach.
- Opens up automation possibilities for continuous lead flow from live ad data.
- Technical Notes (for development team):
- Automation should respect Meta’s API or scraping limits.
- A browser-based data extraction (if Meta API limits access) would still be acceptable.
Ideally includes a scheduling toggle and keyword-based saved searches.
